For this project I had the opportunity to collaborate with three senior interior design students. The project was given on behalf of Arcadis professionals in Dallas, who set this year’s prompt to be a hidden speakeasy with a retail front of house concept (record shop, candy store, or barber). The resulting graphic design brands were juried by industry professionals from Arcadis North America. 
Nestled within the vibrant streets of South Beach, Miami, lies a hidden gem that beckons the adventurous souls who dare to explore its tantalizing secrets. A quaint and unassuming storefront may at first appear to be nothing more than a candy store full of fiery confections. Yet, behind this masquerade of sugary delights, a secret world unfolds. The speakeasy, Matchbox, reveals itself as you navigate past shelves of habanero lollipops and chili-infused gummies. The air is electrified with the vibrant tones of music and the seductive aroma of exotic spices. This hidden oasis boasts a full bar that holds the promise of fiery drinks to complement your spicy candy experience. Matchbox captures the essence of South Beach's allure, where the thrill of discovery mingles with the heat of the night, creating an unforgettable rendezvous for the bold and the curious.
